-Adult 15 & up: $35 -Child 4 - 14: $25 -Carried Infant / Toddler (Ages 3 & under): Free, but one adult per infant/toddler is needed so they may be attended to, you do not need to add them to your reservation.

Duration

• Underground Mine Tour Approximately 1Hour Underground plus gold panning -SUMMER: For Gold Panning please also allow for about 1/2 hour extra time but you can pan until we close for the day! The average visit to the Hidee is 2-3 hours if you go mining and gold panning. -WINTER: We move our Gold Panning INSIDE the Gold Mine! You will get a lesson and 1/2 hour added time to your tour. Keep what you find as always! -"Keep What You Find" Gold Panning Lessons are available anytime in the summer or after your tour in the winter,

About

• The Hidee Gold Mine is a well lit and safe environment.

• The average temperature inside the mine is 45° Fahrenheit so a light jacket and closed toe shoes are recommended.

• The accessible workings are on the 135-foot level of an adit driven about 600 feet into the mountainside.

• The ground is level and the back height (ceiling) is generally above 6 foot so little stooping is required.

• Visitors to the mine are encouraged to try their hand at Hard Rock Mining using our provided tools.

• Use hammer and chisel to carve out a gold specimen from the main ore vein, yours to keep as part of the tour!

• Tours are approximately 1 hour and please leave extra time to enjoy gold panning, the historic sites, our gift shop or lunch outside the mine.

• Wheelchairs & Strollers can have a difficult time in the mine and cannot access one area due to stairs, however, several gold ore veins are seen, all geology and history is explained and 90% of the tour route is accessible. Please try to make arrangements by phone/email if wheelchair only access is required

• Gold Panning Lessons are $10 with purchase of your REAL Gold Ore Tour! Eligible day of tour only, thank you!
