You ease onto the throttle and the ranch road answers—gravel crunching, green ridges sliding past, the Pacific flashing on your left. In less than an hour and a half you climb roughly 1,000 feet of Hamakua coastline terrain, trading cultivated pasture for ferned gulches, and finish at a private waterfall pond where guides pause the convoy for a swim.

Yes—ATV drivers must present a valid license and be at least 16 with parental permission; SxS drivers must be 18 or older.
Yes—passengers can join; children 4–11 must ride in an SxS with a guardian and ride-along passengers must be at least 12.
Closed-toe shoes, long clothing, a change of clothes for after the swim, sun protection, and a waterproof case for electronics are recommended.
Tours may be canceled for bad weather for safety—check the operator’s policy; full refunds are provided for cancellations made at least 24 hours prior.
