Join us for a trip of a lifetime along 230km of QLD’s tropical paradise to see Moreton Islands’ famous Tangalooma Wreaks!

Welcome to Trident Jetskis famous 10hr Adventure to Moreton Island also known as "The Tangalooma Tour". A true once-in-a-lifetime experience you will remember forever.

The adventure begins at Broadbeach Waters @ 6:00 AM. Here we will conduct a safety briefing and ensure you and your Jetski are prepared for the trip ahead of you. We start the trip in the GO-SLOW zone through the Little Tallebudgera Creek before testing your skills on the full-speed Nerang River. For those that can't keep up you’ll be sent home with a full refund and those remaining will continue in confidence on our mission to Moreton.

On the first leg of your trip you can expect to see the towering skyscrapers of Surfers Paradise, the vast Broadwaters of Gold Coast, the winding passages of mangroves along South Stradbroke, and the beautiful cliff faces tracing the Canaipa Passage as we push into the Southern beginnings of Moreton Bay.

Our first stop will be chosen by your Guide and will be one of the 3 following options:

  • Dunwich, North Stradbroke
  • Amity Point, North Stradbroke
  • Koringal Gutter, Moreton Island

Here we will stop for a quick break to eat and re-fuel before starting the next leg of our great adventure. Please eat, relax, and provide assistance to your Guide if requested. This is just the beginning of your trip.

From here we head north to Tangalooma and the Big Sandhills of Moreton Island. This next leg of your adventure will host some of the most spectacular wildlife encounters. We regularly spot groups of Dugongs, schools of fish, Sting Rays, Dolphins, and lots of Giant Turtles! Keep your eyes out and be sure to slow down anytime you see a little friend, this is their home and we must respect them by keeping a safe distance at all times.

Please follow your Guide as they will decide which destination to explore first:

The Big Sandhills

  • These sand hills are all amazing because they a free from vegetation. The wind shaped dunes of the Big Sandhills rise up to 60 metres above their base and provide the most spectacular view over Moreton Bay and the surrounding Islands.

Tangalooma Wrecks

  • Located just north of the Tangalooma Island Resort are the Tangalooma Wrecks, a cluster of ships scuttled by the Queensland Government. Coral has now formed in and around the wrecks, providing a haven for over 100 species of fish and sometimes even dolphins, wobbegongs and dugongs.

Depending on tide and weather, both destinations will offer time to relax and enjoy the local features before moving on to the next leg of the trip. Please listen to your Guides instructions as time and weather conditions are carefully considered for everyone's safety and comfort.

Our journey home has now begun! We will plan to make one more stop at one of our carefully selected and partnered restaurant venues on Moreton Island or North Stradbroke.

Please see our options here:

  • Gutter Bar, Moreton Island
  • Amity Tavern, North Stradbroke
  • Straddie Brewing, North Stradbroke

Time is the only constraint now, we really like to enjoy ourselves here and get a good feed to recharge and help us make our final push home! Weather conditions in the afternoon often worsen as winds pick up and seas start to swell. Get ready for the last leg of your adventure!

By 4:00 PM everyone should be back home with a huge congrats to everyone who finished. This 230km trek on a jetski across 10 hours is a huge accomplishment that most jet skiers will never even attempt.

In the event of extreme weather conditions or by request, we will replace Tangalooma and the Big Sandhills with a visit to the beautiful Horseshoe Bay of Peel Island. The beach there is one of the most popular in the Bay and offers great snorkelling and sunbathing.

NOTE - Only real adventures finish this experience. Please do not book if you are not physically fit and mentally tough enough to push through rough conditions. This will not be as challenging as climbing Mount Everest, but it will take a toll on you mentally and physically. All bookings must pass a consultation with our tour guide before being admitted

Those unfit to continue will be fully refunded.
