Rentals are to be picked up from and returned to our shop. Please use the alleyway located at the back of our shop for rentals, access to the alleyway can be found off of Sledd st or Oak st.
Call upon arrival to notify office staff.
Pick up as early as 8am and as late as 5pm. Rentals must be returned same day before the close of business at 5pm or by 8am the next day (discuss a drop off time with staff prior to leaving with rental). The earlier you pick up, the more time you get to use it!
If you have a truck or a car with roof racks, bring it. No roof rack, no problem! Reference our rental page to view an informational video on loading boats without racks prior to pickup. If needed we will provide further instruction during the pickup time (most car roofs can fit two single person kayaks, one tandem kayak or one canoe).
All boat rentals include a PFD, paddle, helmet (if whitewater), splash skirt (if whitewater kayak), car straps, roof pad (if needed).

Huguenot Flatwater Park (Stony Point Area) 8600 Southampton Road, Richmond, VA 23235
Park here and you’ll see the boat ramp.
Tredegar at Brown's Island (Downtown) Tredegar Street, Richmond, VA 23219
Park at the Belle Isle Parking Lot. Then face the river and walk left along the path. The sandy river bank for you is across the street from the Tredegar Ironworks Building under railroad tracks.
Great Shiplock Park (Shockoe Neighborhood) 2803 Dock St, Richmond, VA 23223
Park here and walk across the dam gate bridge. Keep going straight down to the sandy river bank.
Deep Bottom Park (Henrico County) 9525 Deep Bottom Rd, Henrico, VA 23231 When you enter the parking lot, go left to the dirt parking lot. There will be a sign that says “Deep Bottom Canoe Launch”. Go down the pathway to the dock or put in along the bank to its left.

If boats or gear are damaged or lost, the following applicable fees will be charged to your card. Make sure your boats are secured tightly to your car. You are responsible!
