Ultimate Farm Party at Scatter Joy Acres: Private Tractor Rides & Animal Encounters in Murray NE

Scatter Joy Acres in Murray, Nebraska, is a farm-party playground where three hours can feel like a childhood lifetime. Located in Cass County just outside Omaha, this private 'Ultimate Farm Party' brings animal encounters, tractor rides, and open play areas together into an all-inclusive package designed for families who want to hand the details off and enjoy the day. The experience centers on a working farm layout: low-slung barns and animal pens, a Trading Post indoor room, open pavilions, picnic lawns, and a short loop perfect for slow tractor rides. The package covers a private three-hour party for up to 20 children with a dedicated host who runs activities, times the feedings, and keeps groups moving. Signature moments include hands-on feed buckets with friendly animals, a narrated tractor ride across level pasture and prairie-edge fields, and free time in the farm play area where kids can climb, chase, and invent. Tables and seating are provided, setup and cleanup are handled by staff, and a propane BBQ grill is available if you want to cook on site. The booking includes five animal feed buckets; additional children are welcomed for $25 each. What makes Scatter Joy Acres stand out in southeast Nebraska is its emphasis on low-stress fun and authentic, tactile experiences. Rather than a flashy amusement model, the day is built around farm-scale rhythms: the smell of hay, the soft cluck of chickens, the metal rattle of the tractor, and wide skies above Cass County's working fields. It’s a chance for urban and suburban families—many traveling from Omaha—to let kids connect with livestock and open space in a controlled, family-friendly setting. Practical notes: choose the Trading Post indoor space if weather looks uncertain; pavilions offer shade on hot afternoons; the host adapts activities for younger children and keeps hands clean between animal interactions. The farm’s layout is accessible across short grass and packed dirt, but parents should plan for uneven ground. Culturally, farms like Scatter Joy Acres follow Nebraska’s long tradition of family agriculture and community gatherings where neighbors meet for potlucks and fairs. Treat your booking as both a party and a mini-field trip: bring a camera, pack practical shoes, and prepare to trade the city’s screens for a day of simple, kinetic joy among animals and open fields. Book early during spring and summer weekends—the three-hour slots fill quickly for birthday season. Drop-off and pick-up should be timed so the tractor ride fits inside the party window; arrive 15–20 minutes early for setup and a quick safety briefing. Parking is on-site in a gravel lot near the Trading Post and pavilions. If someone in your group has animal allergies or mobility concerns, contact the host beforehand to adjust activities comfortably.
