Experience an extraordinary adventure at Coffs Coast Wildlife Sanctuary, where you can interact with a beautiful Indo-Pacific Bottlenose Dolphin. This unique experience goes beyond just meeting the dolphin – you’ll get to assist with their daily care and swim in the lagoon with Jet, Bella or Zippy, making your encounter truly special and memorable.

Important information:

Age and height requirements: Children must be at least 10 years old and a minimum of 130cm. All participants must be confident swimmers and be able to tread water for at least five minutes.

Duration: 10 minute orientation followed by a 20 minute interaction

Group sizes: a maximum of five people can participate in any one session. This is a single booking price in an open group.

Seasonal availability: Off peak period February – August. Public holiday surcharges apply

Equipment: Googles are provided for underwater viewing. Wetsuits are available for hire at an additional cost at a nearby, off-site location.

Animal welfare: experience availability may change based on animal needs.

Adventure Tips

Be Comfortable in Water

All participants must be confident swimmers and able to tread water for at least five minutes to safely enjoy the dolphin encounter.

Small Group Experience

Sessions cap at five people, ensuring personal attention and minimal disturbance to the dolphins during your interaction.

Bring a Change of Clothes

After swimming in the lagoon, having dry clothes and a towel on hand will keep you comfortable for the rest of your day.

Mask and Snorkel Provided

Googles are supplied for underwater viewing—consider bringing your own wetsuit or renting one nearby during cooler months.
