We feel the best way to maximize your time is to have a surf instructor solely devoted to you, your family or friends. Aloha Surf Schools Group Lessons offer one instructor for your group of 2-6 guests. This ensures you will be getting the most hands on practice during your time in the water.
Surf Lessons: Your surf instructor will be at the beach to meet you and teach you the basics before entering the water. Once you enter the water, your instructor will be there with you helping you catch waves and giving you hands on coaching.
Surf Lesson locations: The majority of the surf lessons will be conducted at Kalama Beach Park in Kihei. Ukumehame beach park will be utilized contingent on surf and weather conditions. • Kalama Beach Park - Kihei, HI 96753 - Located on South Kihei Road. • Ukumehame Beach Park - Located near the 12-mile marker on highway 30 (Honoapi’ilani highway) on west Maui between Ma’alaea harbor and Lahaina.
Morning sessions often feature gentler surf, making it easier for beginners to catch waves.
