Ride deep into the mountains on snowmobiles to what will effectively be your private mountains for the day. Skin up, leave the snowmobiles behind and relish the wilderness on a ski/split-board tour. We'll go to the best snow and terrain that we can safely go to on the given day. Much of this remote country has seen very few skiers over the years, if ever at all.
We take pride in custom tailoring every guided trip around the specific needs and desires of each group and can focus trips on skiing and riding powder, skiing steeps or simply working on instructional techniques to help you become more proficient in the mountains.
Uintas terrain can be avalanche-prone; always review local avalanche conditions before heading out.
Temperature and weather can shift quickly—dress in breathable, moisture-wicking layers.
Bring beacon, probe, and shovel along with a first aid kit for emergency preparedness.
Cold weather can mask dehydration; carry water and high-energy snacks for endurance.
The Uintas have long been a traditional hunting ground for Native American tribes and later trappers and settlers in the 19th century.
Local groups actively work to preserve fragile alpine ecosystems and promote responsible outdoor recreation to protect the Uintas' natural beauty.
Critical for safety navigating backcountry snow conditions and potential avalanche zones.
