Explore unique lava tubes while encountering green sea turtles in their natural habitat. Perfect for both seasoned divers and beginners, this adventure includes all equipment and transportation, making it an unforgettable outing.
Description
The calm clear waters of west Oahu are the envy of the island rest of the island. Join us for shallower reef dives suitable for those that want longer dives or have not been diving in a while. All dives are guided at a six diver to guide or less ratio from the dive boat.
All equipment is included in your 2 tank scuba dive Oahu experience including dive computers, but you are welcome to bring your own!
Our favorite sight to explore is Makaha Caverns. Here you will find some fully formed underwater lava tubes. There are almost always green sea turtles here. The take naps at the entrance to these lava tubes. Since you can see the exit from the entrance, the intrepid diver will have the chance to swim through!
You may bring friends or family along for the ride who do not wish to Scuba dive. Tour includes refreshments and transportation from Ko olina hotels and resorts.
First time divers may also book this trip at age 12, and will be under the direct supervision on an instructor at a maximum 2:1 ratio. One dive - Makaha Caverns if conditions permit.
