Come ride with us and experience the nature of Granite Bay and Folsom Lake. Our horses are professionally trained and will take excellent care of you. We match you to a horse to fit your level of riding and give you a quick riding tutorial. Get away from city life and enjoy the outdoors!
Riders must be at least 10 years old (can be as young as 8 if they've had 5 0r more lessons)
Riders must be able bodied* and under 200lbs if shorter than 5'8 and under 250 lbs if taller than 5'8 ~this is purely for the horse's well being, if you look like you are over our weight limit, you will be weighed prior to getting on our horses
Wear long pants, closed toed shoes (sneakers or boots, no Toms), consider a hat and sunscreen
48 hour strict cancellation policy or you will be charged $70 per rider, NO SHOWS and day of cancellations will be charged the full cost of the ride
Able bodied: rider will need to be able to use both stirrups and reins, and be able to see, hear and communicate effectively with the guide
Protect your feet and improve stability during the ride by wearing boots or shoes with a good grip.
Granite Bay can get sunny and warm; protect your skin to stay comfortable throughout the ride.
Carry a water bottle, especially in warmer months, to keep hydrated on the trail.
