South Cove Park is a 48 acre park nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains and located on the clear waters of 18,500 acre Lake Keowee. Camping is located on a 15 acre peninsula offering 86 campsites with water and electricity on each site with 46 sites waterfront. Two bath houses serve the campground area and a dump station is located near the entrance of the park. The Park offers a wide variety of day use facilities as well as lakeside camping. Day use facilities include four pickleball courts, three tennis courts, basketball, playground areas, picnic areas, a handicapped accessible fishing pier and a waterfront sand beach for sun bathing. South Cove offers two rental buildings/shelters for reunions, birthday parties, award ceremonies, and picnics that are available by reservations.
