- Our two hour horseback ride is the perfect option for people who want to experience the mountains without committing to an entire day. This is a relaxing ride that starts at the trailhead and gradually rises 1400 ft, taking you to peaks that overlook all of Pagosa Springs, Colorado. This trail is just gentle enough for beginners, yet challenging enough to not be boring for experienced riders. Beautiful flowers, panoramic views, and wildlife are often seen on this ride. This 2 hour ride is our best choice for young children and those not as experienced on horseback. Known for our friendly horses, breathtaking vistas, and unique trip locations, we also offer a half day ride, full day ride, and a variety of overnight majestic pack trips.
