##About One of our most popular rides! This ride tends to be just the right amount of time in the saddle for our visitors. We see gorgeous views of the Hermosa Cliffs and as we’re able to ride further into Chris Park we get to go deeper into our forest trail system.

Guests can enjoy winter old fashioned sleigh rides and spectacular horseback trail rides in the spring and summer. Stroll or bike to Lake Haviland and enjoy world class fishing, canoeing, and paddle boarding. Hiking and biking trails abound along the Historic Rico to Rockwood Animas wagon toll road. A delightful one mile hike through Aspen groves takes you to Forebay Lake for even more secluded fishing and scenery. Bears Ranch encourages kids and families to explore and enjoy the great outdoors while educating them on the history of the area.
