This 18.5 km intermediate ride offers flexible options, including shuttles to and from iconic spots like Gibbston Valley wineries. Enjoy the freedom to explore at your own pace!

Part of the Queenstown Trail 'Great Ride' network, the Twin Rivers Trail hugs two of New Zealand’s most iconic and picturesque rivers.

The beauty and remoteness of this section of the Queenstown Trail really sets it apart. Be sure to take plenty of snacks and water as it’s the most remote part of the trail.

  • Intermediate (Grade 3)

Pick up

Either from our depot address at Unit 1/134 Gorge Rd, Queenstown or your accommodation.

We offer FREE pick-ups from your accommodation anywhere in the central Queenstown area.

There may be an additional charge or small fee if you are outside the central town area.

Drop off

There are a few ways to enjoy this iconic trail.

You can start in Frankton at the Kawarau Falls Bridge and ride the trail to Morven Ferry Road. From here we offer a return shuttle option, or you can continue out to Gibbston Valley to enjoy some food and drinks at one of the lovely wineries before heading back. Either way, please be sure to book your return trip with us.

Alternatively, we can drop you out at Morven Ferry Road so that you can ride back along the trail to Frankton. Many people who ride the trail this way continue on to Queenstown!

This shuttle will take you to the Twin Rivers Trail. If you want a pick-up at the end to get back to your accommodation, please be sure to book your return trip!
