About

Get ready to relax and enjoy a day of leisure as you float down the river!

Looking for a fun outdoor activity in the Hocking Hills? Grab a tube and head out on the water! Tubing is one of the most refreshing summer activities available. We make the tubing experience convenient and enjoyable. Prepare to unwind as you float downstream at a leisurely pace.

Depending on the water conditions, your trip will either start at Crockets Run and end at the Canoe Livery (typically in spring and early summer) or start at Natural Rockbridge and end at Crockets Run (usually in late summer).

The tubing trip is approximately 5 miles long, and the duration varies significantly based on the water level. In high water conditions, the trip may take around 2-3 hours, while lower conditions could extend the time to up to 4 hours. For the best experience, be sure to check our river conditions page to see what the water levels will be on the day of your outing.

Important Information

Tubing can be a strenuous activity, and it's crucial to consider the following before embarking on a tubing excursion:

Weight Limit: Each tube has a weight limit of 250 pounds to ensure safety on the river's rocky terrain. Exceeding this limit could lead to bursting.

Physical Fitness: Being in reasonable physical condition is highly recommended. Since paddles are not provided, and there may be instances where swimming is necessary for an extended period, adequate fitness is essential.

Footwear Requirement: Closed-toe shoes are mandatory for tubing. Flip flops are not permitted due to safety concerns.

Age Restriction: Tubing is not available for children under 12 years old for safety reasons.

Last Departure Time: The last departure time is 12:00 PM, providing ample opportunity to enjoy the river safely.

Tubing Season: The tubing season runs from Memorial Day to Labor Day, contingent on water temperatures and weather conditions. To ensure availability, reservations are required. Currently, reservations are only accepted for groups of ten or more due to necessary social distancing protocols on our transports.

Please plan accordingly and enjoy your tubing experience responsibly and safely.
