We will take a delightful stroll through the beautiful streets and alleys of downtown Lancaster. You will discover a vibrant city of today, steeped in the history and traditions of over 250 years of America’s colorful and exciting past. We will then head out to Amish country for an informative driving tour covering Amish history and their unique culture. We’ll see Amish schools, covered bridges, historical buildings associated with the first Lancaster County settlement, travel to an Amish creamery where you’ll get to choose from more than a dozen homemade ice cream varieties, and stop at a stunning Amish property to witness their famous craftsmanship, see the animals, and have the opportunity to purchase one of their amazing, hand-crafted birdhouses.
Dress in appropriate clothing for the weather. Some of this experience is outdoors and involves casual walking of about 6 city blocks. In accordance with Pennsylvania state law, all children who require car seats must use them while in our van. Car seats are not provided. Guests will need to provide their own.
Vehicles do not have wheelchair lifts.
