El Cielo is a natural sandbank roughly half a mile of the coast of the southern point of the island where visitors may enjoy the pristine shallow turquoise water and see many types of marine life such as stingrays, turtles, and especially starfish, hence the name - Heaven. The tour begins at the Marina Fonatur where you will first head over to visit a couple of reefs for snorkeling. Your guide will make sure you see as many marine animals as possible. Next, we stop at El Cielo to visit the starfish and the many sea creatures you can typically find there.
