You step off the coastal road into humid green: tree trunks thick with moss, leaves stitched with light, and a shallow river that invites you upstream. A short walk through the tiny rainforest village leads to a flat riverbed; water laps at ankle and calf as stone underfoot guides every step. After roughly 45 minutes you hear it before you see it — a steady rush and then a 65-foot drop pouring into a cool plunge pool that begs a swim.
