Treetops Resort 2027 Couples Golf School: 3-Day Instruction & Getaway in Gaylord, MI

Treetops Resort’s 2027 Couples Golf School is an invitation to reset your swing and spend three nights in northern Michigan’s golf country. Located at Treetops Resort, 4250 Marquardt Rd in Gaylord, Michigan, United States, this multi-day package blends expert instruction, on-course coaching, and relaxed evenings for two players who want to improve together and enjoy a memorable getaway. This curated program runs Sunday, June 20 through Wednesday, June 23, and includes three nights lodging; three days of golf instruction with on-course sessions and video analysis; two optional afternoons of play; breakfasts each morning; two lunches and two dinners; and a Sunday evening cocktail reception. Small-group clinics and paired exercises focus on fundamentals, course management, and short-game creativity, while video feedback accelerates learning by revealing subtle mechanical adjustments. What makes this offering special is the combination of focused teaching and the setting. Treetops Resort spreads multiple courses across glacially sculpted ridgelines and mature northern hardwoods, creating varied tee placements, elevation shifts, and strategic challenges that reward thoughtful shot selection. The property’s fairways, bunkers, and greens provide a living classroom where instructors can test different lies, wind angles, and target choices—conditions that mimic real playing scenarios couples will encounter back home. The itinerary is ideal for golfers who want technique and experience. Mornings typically emphasize swing mechanics and short game work with video review; afternoons allow optional rounds to practice new skills under real pressure. Evenings are social: a cocktail reception opens the week, and shared meals give players time to swap notes and relax. The program is equally suited to partners of varying skill levels because instruction is adaptable and on-course drills emphasize teamwork and strategy rather than raw distance. Practical details: meeting point is Treetops Resort. Reach out to your reservationist ahead of arrival for dietary requests listed in the package. Bring your own clubs, practice attire, and layered clothing—the microclimates on ridgelines can shift quickly in early summer. Beyond instruction, the resort's on-site practice facilities and short-game areas allow couples to drill together between lessons; sheltered range bays and meticulously maintained greens make real-time adjustments easier when combined with instructor feedback. The lodging included in the package provides convenient access to tees and practice spaces so you can test adjustments first thing in the morning. Gaylord itself offers other outdoor options—hiking, fishing, and scenic drives—so non-golfing companions or post-session afternoons can explore nearby trails and lakes. This balance of focused coaching and accessible recreation distinguishes the week. Plan accordingly. Whether you come to sharpen a short game or reconnect over birdies and bogeys, this Couples Golf School pairs purposeful coaching with the calm of northern Michigan’s outdoors, making it a standout summer escape for golfers seeking improvement and connection.
