Itinerary

Take local bus through the backroads of the Dublin foothills to a remote mountain village.

Following a meandering mountain path, visit an ancient burial ""wedge"" tomb from the second millennium B.C., nestled in a forest.

Continuing along the Dublin Mountains Way, arrive at a popular vantage point and take in the panoramic views over Dublin and the bay area, perched on a mountain top rock.

Continuing along a ridge, with views of Dublin to the north, and Wicklow to the south, arrive at a second burial tomb, this time an ancient stone circle and burial pace of the man for whom the mountain top upon which it sits is named.

After a leisurely wander down a meandering path through an evergreen forest, followed by a rural back-road, arrive at a quaint, rustic, cafe and restaurant to enjoy a well earned lunch made of local produce and cuisine.

An Alternative bus returns back to the finish point via a different but equally enchanting route.

We need a minimum of 5 people in order to run the public tour. We will be in touch if we don't meet the minimum to reschedule, or to agree an appropriate surcharge, or alternatively you can book a private group tour.
