Let us show you Sussex – a beautiful and historic county on the south coast of England. Known for it’s rolling countryside, particularly the chalk hills of the South Downs National Park and many historic sites, including 1066 Country – the site of the Battle of Hastings.

About

  • We can create the perfect Sussex tour for you – for history buffs, there are Roman remains, Norman churches and cathedrals, fairytale castles from the Middle Ages and Regency, Victorian and Edwardian seaside towns. For transport fans, there are many historic steam railways, including the renowned Bluebell Railway.

  • Famous Sussex seaside towns, you might choose to visit on your tour include Brighton, Eastbourne, Hastings, Worthing, and Bognor Regis, all with great shingle beaches, museums, galleries, theatres, and many other attractions. There are quaint local harbours at Chichester and Rye and the beautiful sandy bay at Camber Sands.

Bodiam Castle

  • A 14th Century castle with a moat. Built to help defend the area during the Hundred Years War, later owners supported the House of Lancaster in the Wars of the Roses, and the Royalist side in the English Civil War. Currently owned by the National Trust.

Beachy Head

  • Situated west of Eastbourne, the famous white cliffs and lighthouse at Beachy Head have featured in many films and TV programmes, as has the nearby Cuckmere Haven and Birling Gap.
