About This Adventure

Tourist Trap

Duration

1 Hour and 15 Minutes

About

A guide will meet you in front of the Army Museum at Fort DeRussy (Just to the east of the Hale Koa ... which is close to the Hilton Hawaiian Village ... on Kalia Rd, Honolulu, HI 96815). The guide will have a backpack for your team to carry. These backpacks have locked zipper pockets. You will begin the game by unzipping one of the unlocked pockets, where you will find a map, the start point, and a clue. Your guide will assist in getting to all points along the way (this is not a navigation or map reading game). The clue will help you unlock the first lock, which will yield a second destination and another clue (that should usually be less than 150 yards away).

You will have 60 minutes to complete the 1.5 mile course in order to win the prize.

What is Scaventour?

It's has the heart of an escape room game, but since it is outdoors it will feel like a treasure hunt, scavenger hunt, Amazing Race, Da Vinci Code, National Treasure, or Geocaching. It is outdoor walking exercise in beautiful Waikiki.

Gamemaster#

Your gamemaster for Tourist Trap will be Charlie. His phone number will be included in your confirmation email. Please make contact with him by text on game day if you are having trouble finding the game location.

Other#

If people in your group are susceptible to bug bites, there is one part that goes through a garden and during some times of year, a few people get bitten. Applying bug spray could help.
If it appears it will lightly rain, it is ok to bring umbrellas along for the game.
