Adventure Tips

Secure Park Permits Before Departure

Permits for Algonquin Provincial Park camping and day use are mandatory and not included in rentals; obtain these in advance to avoid interruptions.

Bring Your Own PFD or Rent on Site

Personal flotation devices are legally required for every paddler; if you don’t own one, rent it through the outfitter or bring your own for safety compliance.

Plan Routes with Variable Weather in Mind

Weather in Muskoka and Algonquin can change rapidly, so map your daily routes with possible wind or rain scenarios for safe paddling.

Test Equipment Before You Leave the Dock

Inspect your kayak or paddleboard and safety kit carefully before setting out to ensure there are no leaks, damage, or missing gear components.
