No advanced experience is required; basic belay experience is recommended, but instructors will cover foundational skills and safe practices.
The course provides static and dynamic ropes, helmets, harnesses, shoes, and belay devices—bring personal gear if you prefer your own.
Expect moderate exertion—short hikes, standing during drills, and a few climbs; participants should be comfortable on exposed ledges and able to hike short distances.
