First invented by Ed Frank from Naples, Florida in the early 1930's. The swamp buggy was a crucial part in the development of the Everglades. The first swamp buggy known as "Tumble Bug" was soon to become common among swamp folk for deep Everglades hunting or fun family outings, large aircraft or tractor tires make this vehicle perfect for swampy, rocky, muddy terrain and as always-sight seeing nature and wildlife.
