We can’t wait to host you on a Treasure Seekers tour! Our tours are unique experiences that truly showcase Southwest Florida’s natural beauty. In preparing for your tour, please review the information below to provide a better understanding of what to expect and how to prepare for your trip.
For tours head directly to Goodland Boat Park at 750 Palm Point Dr. Goodland, FL
Our 25-foot Sea Pro boats include a flushable toilet onboard. We recommend using the restroom at the boat park facility before departure to the islands.
Treasure Seekers is invested in our guests' comfort and safety, providing a smooth ride to make it your best day ever. Our 25-foot center console boats feature contemporary, comfortable seating for up to six guests per boat, slip-resistant decking, an onboard bathroom, and a large cooler for refreshments (we provide ice, water, and iced tea for all trips). Operated by licensed captains and guides trained in CPR/First Aid, our boats offer easy access to barrier islands through shallow waters without compromising safety or style! Our experienced captains strive to provide not only a safe but comfortable ride through the Ten Thousand Islands waterways. It'll take about 15-20 minutes to reach the best shelling spots.
All of our islands are only accessible by boat and are uninhabited. This means that on the islands there are no docks and boarding may take place on the sand or in the water. While it is uncommon, be prepared to get up to your waist in the water if necessary. Our tour requires you to be active and mobile. Guests will need to be able to get on and off a boat unassisted using a ladder.
Our knowledgeable guides travel with you on and off the boat to show you the best shelling spots. Shelling tours involve walking on uneven sandy ground, around tree stumps, and through mud throughout the tour. Expect to walk a distance of at least one mile in such conditions. If you have difficulty walking or have a physical disability, please consult our office before your tour date, so we can make appropriate accommodations.
Visit our online store to add mesh shell bags or logo buckets to your tour! Purchase the bags in advance of your tour and we’ll have them ready for you when you board your boat. Additional recommendations include:
Gratuity is not included in your booking fee. Please bring cash to tip your crew.
Sturdy water shoes or sandals with good grip are recommended for walking on uneven, sandy surfaces.
Use sunscreen, hats, and sunglasses to stay comfortable during hours in the sun.
Bring a bucket or bag to safely carry your shells and marine discoveries.
Follow guide instructions to avoid disturbing local flora and fauna during your trip.
The Ten Thousand Islands area was historically a hub for fishing and boatbuilding, shaping the local community and environment.
