Is the boat handicap accessible? Yes, we are able to get wheelchairs and walkers on and off the boats, it may require some assistance from our staff depending on the water levels.
Are there any places to stop? Yes, plenty. You can go back to our website and check out the "where to go" and it will provide you all the docks you can pull up to.
Are pets allowed on board? Yes, as long as pets are well trained.
Is the boat covered from the weather? The boat is half covered with a Bimini top, half the boat is exposed to the sun.
What happens if the weather is bad? Cayuga Lake Boat Rentals will decide if the weather is too severe to be on the water. If we decide not to send you out, we will try to reschedule you during your vacations time or a gift card will be issued for a future date. We DO NOT cancel due to passing rain storms, cool temperatures or overcast skies.
Are there life preservers on board (pfd)? Yes, we provide legally issued vested jackets for all sizes(ranging from infant to super large). If you are more comfortable with your own life jacket, please bring it. Life jackets are always required for passengers under the age of 12.
Is there a bathroom on board? No, these boats do not have bathrooms. There are bathrooms at the pick up location or across the lake at Long Point State Park , along with many other places to stop.
Is smoking allowed? Smoking is allowed but you will be charged for any cigarette burns that may occur
Can I leave the boat tied to a dock overnight? Yes, but this also depends on the dock conditions and rough waters. 99% of the time it is fine.
Extended time on the lake means protecting your skin and staying hydrated—pack plenty of water and broad-spectrum sunscreen.

Life jackets are legally required for children under 12 and strongly recommended for all passengers—use those provided or bring your own.
