One of the most spectacular walks in the Gower Peninsular, the first area in the UK to be designated an Area of Outstanding Beauty, this is a must do walk if you are in the South Wales or Gower area!
Come and join us on a guided circular walk to one of the most spectacular walks in Britain. Starting at Parkmill, walking through the valley and up towards Penmaen Castle, before dropping into the valley to explore 3 Cliffs bay and Pobbles Beach.
You will start at Parkmill and continue your walk through the woodland and up to the top of the valley. We will then proceed towards Penmaen castle to hear the story of Will the Mill and William De Breos III, who became the Lord of Gower. We can then drop down into the valley and onto the beach, depending on where the tide is at the time, before heading over towards Pobbles Beach.
Then head back up to the top of the valley and back towards the start. There are amazing rock features and photo spots along the way with breathtaking scenery!
You will visit the award winning beach of 3 cliffs bay and be shown popular photography spots.
Begin your walk in the morning to enjoy full daylight hours and avoid rushing the 8-hour trail.
Rocky and uneven sections near cliffs require durable footwear with good grip.
There are limited facilities en route, so bring enough supplies to stay fueled and hydrated.
Preserve the landscape and avoid sensitive flora by sticking to designated trails.
