Starring Jonathan Groff - A Must-See Show!
One of the most popular singers of the 1950s and 60s comes to life on stage this spring when Tony Award-winning Jonathan Groff stars in “Just In Time.” Groff’s portrayal of Bobby Darin, the teen heartthrob who brought us tunes likes “Splish Splash” and “Mack the Knife,” follows the actor’s Best Performance Tony in “Merrily We Roll Along.” Darin performed a variety of genres, including jazz, pop, and rock ‘n’ roll, having started his show business career as a songwriter for Connie Francis before he started performing in New York City coffeehouses in the late 1950s. His 1958 novelty song “Splish Splash” became an international hit, and his 1959 album “That’s All” brought him critical and global fame. The new musical will be presented at the Circle in the Square Theatre which will be transformed into an intimate, immersive nightclub.
