Discover the story of Francis Drake’s circumnavigation of the world and experience life on board a 16th century galleon through replica handling sessions and a guided, hands-on exploration of The Golden Hinde. The Voyage of the Golden Hinde is our most popular programme for KS1/2.

Our costumed educators bring history to life as pupils are immersed in the unique environment of our amazing galleon.

Pupils will also be provided with our pre-and post-visit resources, designed to encourage them to respond critically and creatively to get the most out of their visit.
