Visitors are welcomed into our home. When weather conditions allow, the meal can be served in the garden. Drinks and entrees are served during dinner preparation. It is not just about the food, but mainly for the interaction with the locals. Usually, a typical Azorean meal is served accompanied by Portuguese wine. For dessert you cannot miss one of the many typical sweet’s, coffee, dessert wine and homemade liquors. During the event the hosts will give an explanation about Azorean culture, history, traditions, gastronomy, sometimes including the exchange of recipes. As this is a small family business, we are unable to offer vegetarian or vegan options. We can deal with some food intolerances. Please notify in advance. By choice, we always work with small groups of up to eight people. In the case of organized groups and large families, we can serve more than eight people. We can organize private events. Starters, meals, wines and desserts may vary. It can be typical food and sometimes, when the weather permits, it can be a meat or fish barbecue.
