1.5 Hours
Guests will learn about the history, care, harnessing and driving of these magnificent horses. The experience starts at the Hermann Farm Stone Barn. Participants will then hop aboard our Leon, Farm Wagon or 4 Seat Surrey, (depending on group size) and embark on a picturesque and leisurely ride through Hermann Farm ending up back at the Stone Barn for a tour and behind-the-scenes look of this new home of the Hermann Farm Shire Horses. During this ride you will see these gentle giants doing what they have been bred for decades to do and see the power and unique relationship of trust and partnership that exists between a human and a working Shire draft horse. Since the groups are usually small we can tailor the Experience to emphasize what you are most interested in learning about the Shires and Hermann Farm.
