This tour will take you to discover the eastern part of São Miguel Island, one of the most remote and Natural places. This location is well Known as the origin of São Miguel Island from 4.5 million years ago, with its high points, Pico da Vara.
This is the house of one of one of the Azorean symbols: the endemic bird - Azorean Bullfinch. Getting to know more about the origin of the island and being in a remote location with our guide is a must but on top of that we add a hike in Faial da Terra of around 6km where you will also experience the one-on-one feel and touch with this raw nature and find one of the most famous waterfalls of São Miguel Island. Sometimes even a dip in the ocean is possible during the summer days, so be always prepared for our azorean way of exploring the uniqueness of the Azores.
