About

A good team building event involves communication, cooperation, fun and laughter. It also should emphasise the values that are important to your team’s everyday success.

We’ve created original artisan experiences for you to select. We focus attention on creating an environment for your event that facilitates group cooperation and individual communication.

Our team building activities encourage creativity.

Activities specifically focus on cooperation, communication, insight and feedback. We offer prepared team building activities based on meeting your objectives and desired outcomes. Our teamwork experiences are designed to bring out the best in each other.

Group or team? Looking for a creative event? Let us know, we do this.

You will learn the basics of artisan ceramics while at the same time participate in a hands-on activity.

What is the creative group craft activity?

The Muse

This activity is designed for a team to have some fun and to know each other a little better in a friendly, open environment. At the end of the activity the team will have created a clay bust of every team member. The figures will then be dried, twice kiln fired and glazed. The final items will be ready about two to three weeks after the team activity.

Timeline:

  • 15 minutes: general introductions and instructions.

  • 1 ½ hours: in pairs, team members sculpt a bust of their team partner. The goal is to capture the essence of their muse. The upper body form is pre-made, so participants can focus on facial features and apparel choices.

  • 15 minutes: each team member presents their creation and explains the reasoning behind the choices made for representing the individual they way they have (the features and decoration of their muse-ie. good listener, snappy dresser, etc.)

Result: the group creates a physical representation of their team and learns more about each other and the group.
