With this tour, explore the healing dirt of Santuario de Chimayó, taste the heirloom goodness of chile blends, and watch artisans weave colorful Southwest textiles. Going to Chimayó, New Mexico is an expedition back in time to an era that was hand-grown, hand-made and filled with holy visitations. This tour includes lunch at Rancho de Chimayó, a restored hacienda with generationally preserved cuisine.

We meet at Heritage Inspirations Travel Hub & E-Bike Shop located inside of Inn & Spa at Loretto at 10am and ends 3pm.

What To Bring

At high elevations and in a dry climate, proper hydration and sun protection is a necessity. New Mexico weather can also change without much notice. We recommend bringing:

  • Sunscreen & SPF lip balm
  • Hat and/or sunglasses
  • Layered clothing, including a light, long sleeve layer for sun protection and a rain layer
  • Water, water, water
