Beer brewing has progressed throughout civilisation but it has certainly peaked with the Great British renaissance of independent microbrewing. On this tour, you will discover as many as five amazing London Breweries in one of this city's most exciting neighbourhoods. The Brixton Beer Mile is home to a fun and fabulous range of local breweries perfecting their craft such as Brixton Brewery, London Beer Lab, Friendship Adventure and Dogs Grandad, as well as many others.
With many years of local experience and great relationships in the community, our expert guide will allow you to hear unique stories from local craft brewers about their passion and skill in the ancient art of beer brewing. Not only will you learn about the evolution of craft beer, but you will taste it! Of course, you will hear some local history about one of London's most famous neighbourhoods, Brixton.
We have an introduction to beer with the team at London Beer Lab and later look at the brewing kit at another brewery. You will have the chance to taste many different beer styles on the route and hear about the history of brewing in the area, and at individual breweries in modern times.
The tour involves walking between breweries along city streets, so sturdy footwear helps keep you comfortable throughout.
All guests must be 18+ and carry photo ID to sample alcoholic beverages on the tour.
