Olkkajärvi is a perfect environment for paddling.
You can plan your route or use our pre-planned route options. About 2 km from the resort, you'll find a resting area managed by Apukka where you can stop during your trip. Rest, make a fire, and enjoy a picnic.
Our canoes are designed for recreational use, suitable for paddlers of all levels, and perfect for small groups or large families. The grand canoe can hold a maximum of 8 people (we recommend at least 4 adult-sized paddlers/canoe).
You can also rent a hiking Backpack that includes 4 sausages, grill sticks, a matchbox, a first-aid kit, and tissues.

The price of the activity includes transfers to and from Apukka Resort with our shuttle bus by showing the reservation confirmation.
The bus stops are at Rovaniemi city center and Santa Claus Village’s bus stop, situated by the main road (Road E75).

The total number of big canoes is 3, which can carry 24 person total.
The age limit for renting a canoe is 15 years. Children under 15 years old can go canoeing with an adult.
Children under 18 must report their guardian's contact information when booking the canoe.
