Adventure Tips

Dress in layers

Morning and evening temperatures can be cool while midday warms up significantly; layering keeps you comfortable.

Bring sunscreen

Elevation and open landscapes increase sun exposure, so apply broad-spectrum sunscreen frequently.

Stay hydrated

Carry plenty of water as ranch activities and rides can be physically demanding, and water sources on trails may be scarce.

Use appropriate footwear

Sturdy boots with good traction are recommended for horseback riding and ranch tours to protect your feet and improve stability.
