Would you rather be a spectator or a gladiator?

Join a small group of a maximum of 14 participants and enjoy the Colosseum from a very unique perspective. Use a privileged backdoor entrance and get exclusive access directly into the Gladiators’ Arena, not available to regular ticket owners, skipping the long queues.

Once inside, journey back to the days of the Roman Empire with a professional archeologist. Marvel at this mighty wonder of ancient engineering and learn about the innovative techniques used to build it. Discover the political and social reasons that led to its construction and hear about the bloody games that took place in it.

After your official tour ends you can stay inside the Colosseum as long as you wish. Then you can either use your tickets to visit the archeological area of the Roman Forums and Palatine Hill on your own or with a guided tour (choose the option you prefer during your booking).

Here, you will walk the paths of the Roman citizens and emperors and immerse into the ruins of ancient temples. Visit the Palatine Hill, where the legend of Romulus and Remus established the foundation of the city. Learn how this beautiful area later became the beating heart of Ancient Rome. Enjoy breathtaking views over the Colosseum and Circus Maximus.

• The Colosseum tour is wheelchair-accessible; the Roman Forums and Palatine Hill tour is not
• This tour is subject to weather conditions. If canceled due to poor weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date or a full refund

Meeting point

Meet at the green kiosk on the right as you exit the Colosseo metro station. Look for a member of staff carrying a yellow label with TOURIKS written on it. Please arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled starting time. Please note that there is also an upper floor exit of the Colosseo metro station; please go downstairs.

Cancellation policy

• For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours in advance of the starting time of the experience
• Full refunds are not possible for cancellations made after the 24 hours
• Amendments are not allowed after 24 hours and they are always subject to availability and price changes
• Refund is not possible in case of a no-show on the part of the customer
• If the tour is canceled due to poor weather, or other reasons depending on the Administration of the monument, you will be given the option of an alternative date or a full refund
