This tour starts in Dumbo, Brooklyn, under the Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridges on beautiful waterfront with sweeping views of downtown Manhattan from across the East River.
We pedal on comfortable, lightweight, high quality, hybrid bicycles; provided to you by Brooklyn Giro LLC bike tour company. From Dumbo, we visit the historic and newly redeveloped Brooklyn Navy Yard, heading into the South Part of Williamsburg – a neighborhood of artists, graffiti, and some of the coolest Bars, Coffee Shops, and Breweries in NYC.
We head to Fort Green Park, North of Bustling Downtown Brooklyn- the landscape changes dramatically and one gets a view of the amazing diversity of Brooklyn! We pass by Barclay’s Center and Historically Preserved Government Buildings.
The next stop is Prospect Park’s Grand Army Plaza with views of the Park’s Arch and the Brooklyn Public Library. We do a quick ride through the park and head towards Red Hook for stops at locals to meet some of Brooklyn's hardworking people at a distillery, a chocolate factory or perhaps some pie bakers...
Into Cobble Hill and Red Hook with Brownstone Lined Streets, Small Family Owned Restaurants, and reminders of a shipping industry long gone!
