Join a unique one-day workshop to create a stunning zero-waste summer dress using airy Tencel fabric. Learn innovative pattern cutting techniques while enjoying a variety of colors and prints. Perfect for beginners or those looking to refine their skills, this experience promises creativity and sustainability in a welcoming Sewing Café atmosphere.

Do you want to get sewing experience with stretchy materials and working with the overlock machine? Then this is a great lesson for you! You will follow a 3 hours of sewing lesson in our Sewing Café and you get all organic materials to develop your own (flared) legging.

This lesson is a good starter if it is the first time working with stretchy materials. You can for example learn to work with the overlock machine (serger). This lesson takes place in our Sewing Cafe and is taught by one of the fashion designers that work at De Steek.

What do you learn in this lesson?

• Introduction in cutting stretchy fabric & working with a sewing pattern • Introduction in working on the serger • How to create a basic seam with stretchy materials • How to finish a waist band with stretch (including elastic) • How to finish a basic hem with stretch
