Paddler Co-op is a community-focused paddling organization based in Palmer Rapids, Ontario, offering hands-on whitewater courses, skills training, camping, and events on the Madawaska River. The co-op runs two-day whitewater canoe and kayak courses that cover essential paddling techniques, safety practices, and navigation of class 2 rapids for beginning to advanced paddlers. Paddler Co-op also hosts specialized programs including a Whitewater Rescue Certification in partnership with Boreal River Rescue, a Women’s Weekend with female coaches, and an annual Paddle for Benny memorial event that promotes mental health awareness within the paddling community.
