Suggested Itinerary:
- Duration: Approx. 8 hours
- Pick up at requested hotel/apartment/cruise at requested time
- Drive to the Almourol Castle
- Boat ride to the Castle (2,50€ - castle entrance included) - Subject to weather conditions. Closed on Mondays during low season.
- Drive to the city of Tomar
- Visit the Church of Santa Maria do Olival
- Free time for lunch and to explore the city
- Visit the Templar Castle and Convent of Christ
- Drive back to the starting point
Note that:
- Our itinerary is always flexible, so if you want to cut it short or add different stops or places to visit you can do that by just telling the driver (that's why private tours are a lot more fun!)
- If you don't want to visit the monuments inside, we can add other places like viewpoints or some secret spots that only the locals know about to fill in the time
- Our tours can be done in English, Portuguese, Spanish or French (subject to availability)
- You should wear comfortable clothing and shoes as there are some parts of the tour where we have to walk to reach certain places
