  • Meet the endless tunnels and caverns of Cacahuamilpa and venture on the steep streets of the city of silver named Taxco
  • Walk down the corridor and enjoy the 2 KM walk inside the caves of Cacahuamilpa
  • Discover animal figures, funny faces, in the stalactites and stalagmites that create incredible forms and imaginary beings taken out of other worlds

  • Know the history of the Santa Prisca Parish explained by our local guide, which stands as one of the most beautiful works of Mexican Baroque

What to Expect

  • Our first stop will be the caves of Cacahuamilpa, we enter through the huge rock door to contemplate the majestic scenery formed by the erosion of the water and the movements of the earth; We will walk through the corridors and enjoy the sensation of getting inside the mountain to discover figures of animals, faces, buildings and learn about the traditions of the Chontal tribes to honor their Gods of the Underworld.

  • Later we will go to the magical town of Taxco to eat the local food like the Mole Rosa, Chalupas de Tixtla or Sabana Plateada (Food not included)

  • Once we arrive at the main plaza, you will be received by our local guide who will explain the history of the Temple of Santa Prisca, which is a clear example of the fact that the town retains its colonial Novo-Hispanic baroque style.

-We will take a small rest to visit the silver shops and walk through its squares. You will have free time to walk around and take your time to know the downtown and its cobbled streets

  • At the end we will return to Mexico City.
