About

Taste Florence brings you to the best local markets and shops for a variety of tastings, including olive oils, authentic balsamic vinegars, sauces, crostini, salumi and cheeses. Stops include the Mercato Centrale, historic bakeries, wine tastings in elegant and rustic enoteche, pastry and gelato tastings… all in Florence’s top-notch, historic shops. If you like warm breads and pastries, skipping lines, and tasting local specialties while they are super fresh, our morning tour is for you.

In addition to learning about the quality of the foods and wines, explanations of their history and preparation methods are given as you nibble on each delicious bite.

The price includes all the food tastings and wine tastings, in several stops around town. You won't need lunch after you join us!

Booking through this third-party ticketing company incurs a small fee, but is the quickest and easiest way to be sure you get the date you want.. Spaces are limited, so the automated tickets are a way to give you first dibs by booking and paying in a matter of minutes.

Though we don't like to exclude anyone from joining our tours, we do not recommend guests with severe nut allergies take the tour.

Since we visit two bakeries that use nuts as well as the gelateria, a severe nut allergy becomes more risky since there are too many possibilities for cross-contamination, despite everyone's best efforts.

(Also please note: while we welcome children, we cannot offer free entry for children as we have limited space on our tours. Please email us for options for families traveling with children. )
