With Tarpon migrating through Islamorada, March through September are the most active months for Shark & Tarpon Fishing. You can fish all year for Tarpon in Islamorada, targeting these Silver Kings around channels, bridges, and the Everglades National Park.

Tarpons average in size from 80 to 150 pounds. They are exciting to fish to catch and put on a show while leaping out of the water, trying to shake the hook. Be sure to bring your camera because these Silver Kings will put on a show!
