A small bow cuts through glassy Mediterranean water as the cliffs of Taormina slip astern and the island of Isola Bella grows larger — a green jewel rimmed by pebble beach. Sunlight pierces grotto mouths and turns sea caves into rooms of moving light; the skipper eases the boat into a quiet bay and the smell of sea mingle with citrus and wine.
