Babadağ’s slopes were long used for grazing and timber; paragliding developed here in the late 20th century thanks to reliable thermals and sea breezes.
Operators limit launch-site trampling and encourage no-trace behavior; avoid disturbing nesting raptors and pack out all waste to protect fragile cliff habitats.
