About This Adventure

Experience the beauty of Kane'ohe Bay with our kayak rentals, offering both single and tandem options. Choose the all-inclusive "Total Yak Pack" for a complete adventure, or customize your gear a la carte. Enjoy a personalized briefing and waterproof map for a safe, unforgettable day on the water.

Duration:

  • 1/2 day = up to 4 hours
  • Full day = up to 8 hours (due back by closing time)
  • Multiple day rentals also available. Call for options and pricing.

Options

Total Yak Pak - Includes: kayak, paddles, backrests, life jackets, anchor, dry bag, two sets of snorkel gear. A la carte rental - Includes: kayak, paddles, life jackets, and backrests. Anchor, dry bag, and snorkel gear not included, but available a la carte for additional charge.

About:

Our a la carte rental option is the most economical way to get exactly what you need and only what you need to explore Kane'ohe Bay! The "Total Yak Pack" option is an all-inclusive package that is a great value if you want snorkel gear as well.

We have single-person and tandem (two-person) kayaks available. Just make sure you reserve the right number of kayaks for how many are in your party! We cannot refund on the day of if it turns out you accidentally reserved too many.

Check in at He'eia State Park's main banquet hall building at the top of the main parking lot. Kayaks and equipment will be set up right on the water's edge, ready to go!

We'll give you a personalized briefing with your waterproof map of the bay so you will know before you go, and be ready for a safe, fun kayaking and snorkeling adventure.

  • Ages 3 and up, and basic swimming ability is required for all participants regardless of age. For everybody's safety there can be no exceptions to these requirements. Please make sure to be aware of our restrictions, requirements, and policies (including cancelation policy) before booking.

  • Open Monday-Saturday, 8:00am-4:00pm, closed Sundays and federal holidays.

Inclusions:

  • Paddles, life jackets, and adjustable backrests are included.
  • Waterproof map of Kane'ohe Bay and personalized briefing with our expert staff also included.
  • Snorkeling gear, waterproof dry bags, and reef anchors are included in the "Total Yak Pack" option, OR can be added individually a la carte.

Cancelations:

  • We operate rain or shine as long as the conditions are safe and reasonable to let people go in the water. There is almost always a chance of rain on Oahu's windward side, and kayaking in the ocean requires you to get wet anyway. So we do not cancel or refund because of rain or chance of rain.
  • Cancelations made the day of or day before are non-refundable. Reserved kayaks that turn out to be unnecessary on the day of are non-refundable. We do often get fully booked and turn people away, so we do not refund for no-shows or reserved kayaks that end up unused.
