About
We offer quality Perception Tribe Sit-On-Top kayak rentals. Beginner friendly and if you need instruction, NO PROBLEM! We'll teach you the basics! We also will show you maps and diagrams if you're not familiar with the area. It's very easy!
Avila Beach is the perfect area to kayak and paddleboard all year round. The coastline here is south-facing and we have a large rock jetty that keeps Port San Luis sheltered from heavy surf and currents. There is abundant wildlife, stunning natural coastline, and secret beaches. You can even land at one of the beaches and take a short walk up to the historic Point San Luis Lighthouse!
Beginners are welcome and we can show you everything you need to know to stay safe and have a great time! If you would like a guide to go with you, please check out our Adventure Tours (reservations required).
Please do not be late for your rental. Your time will be cut short on the water.

- Everyone must know how to swim independently
- Due to safety concerns, pregnant women are not permitted to rent kayaks or paddleboards or participate in rentals or Adventure Tours.
